Latest news, I have just received notice that Olde World Santa Whimsy has been accepted into the Vermont Quilt Festival and also in the Maine Quilt Fest judged category. Vermont Quilt Fest is June 25-27th; Maine Quilt Festival is July 30th-August 1st. I look forward to the judges' critiques of my quilt.
Just received my quilt back from Vermont Quilt Fest. It won a Second Place Ribbon in its category and also a Special Award Ribbon for Best Handwork. The judges' critiques were very positive and their input is most valuable in becoming a better quilter.
I will keep everyone posted on my results from the Maine Quilt Show.
