Santa Quilt

Quilts in the Garden quilt show was held this past weekend at WheatonArts in Millville,  NJ.  Olde World Santa Whimsy won a first place ribbon in the large bed quilt category.   The redwork santas are from Curtis Boehringer's Olde World Santa and Santas of the Month collections.  The embroidery of the santa blocks took me two years to finish....Thanks to Curtis for his wonderful and whimisical santa designs!

My Woobie in Pink & Burgundy or Cotton Candy
""I've been hard at work piecing together Woobies.  This is the first completed; pretty pink chenille with a rail fence block of light pink, paisley and burgundy polka dots.  This is the first of three completed this week.  The other two, Vanilla Expresso and Burgundy Rose are complete and just need to be photographed.
Off to the long arm next week after my workshop for the Garden Patch Quilt Guild on Wednesday.  The pattern for My Woobie is available through my website.  Just drop me an email...

Paisley Pinwheel #2

Another of my many UFOs is now completed and off to the longarm quilter for quilting.  I took a quick photo of the quilt top as it hung on the line.  It measures 82" x 100".  The backing is a wonderful wine burgundy floral on tan.  Can't wait for it to be finished....

The quilt is finished and was given as a "thank you" gift to my husband's cardiologist.  He was very moved by the quilt.  Attached is a picture.  A pattern is in the works.....
